Texas High School Basketball - Memphis knocked off by Shamrock
January 20, 2023: Memphis, TX 79245 The Shamrock Irish basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Memphis Cyclones to 43 in the Irish league triumph on Friday.
The Irish now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wellington for a 2A Region I District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Shamrock will meet a Skyrockets team coming off a 62-44 league loss to Clarendon (Clarendon, TX). The Skyrockets record now stands at 14-4.
The Cyclones (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Quanah (Quanah, TX). The Indians enter the 2A Region I District 2 contest with a 16-12 record. In their last contest, Quanah was defeated by Wheeler (Wheeler, TX), 56-50, in a league contest.
