Illinois High School Basketball - Modesto Christian topped by St. Rita

The St. Rita Mustangs basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Modesto Christian Crusaders to 72 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salt Lake Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. St. Rita will battle a Griffins team coming off a 67-62 non-league loss to Chaminade (St. Louis, MO). The Griffins record now stands at 15-6.

The Crusaders (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Vashon (St. Louis, MO). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 7-7 record.
