Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northwest Area nips Muncy

January 20, 2023: Muncy, PA 17756

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA) and the host Muncy Indians (Muncy, PA), saw Northwest Area's basketball squad hold off Muncy by a count of 50-43.

With the victory, Northwest Area upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Rangers host Millville (Millville, PA) to play the Quakers in a Midd-Penn bout on Friday, January 27. The Quakers come into the bout with a record of 2-12.

Next up, the Indians play the Benton Tigers (Benton, PA) in a Midd-Penn bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Muncy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 55-27 league loss to South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA).
