Iowa High School Basketball - Paton-Churdan topples West Harrison
January 20, 2023: Churdan, IA 50050 In Friday's non-league outing, the Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA) basketball squad beat the visiting West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA), by a count of 61-53.
The Rockets (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA). The Wildcats go into the Rolling Hills outing with a 1-13 record. In their last outing, Glidden-Ralston was topped by Grandview Christian (Grandview, MO), 102-39, in a non-league outing.
The Hawkeyes now hold a 11-2 record. They play next when they host CAM for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 24. West Harrison will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 62-51 non-league loss to Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-6.
