Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) and the host Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), saw Tempe's basketball squad knock off Apache Junction by a count of 30-22.

With the victory, Tempe upgrades its record to 2-14 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Dysart (El Mirage, AZ) to play the Demons in a 4A Black Canyon challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Dysart won 48-28 in their recent league challenge against Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ)
