Virginia High School Basketball - Tidewater Academy topped by Brunswick Academy
January 20, 2023: Wakefield, VA 23888 The Brunswick Academy Vikings basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Tidewater Academy Warriors to 28 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kenston Forest for a Virginia Colonial contest on Monday, January 23. Brunswick Academy will battle a Kavaliers team coming off a 43-28 non-league win over James River HomeSchool (Chesterfield, VA). The Kavaliers record now stands at 13-1.
The Warriors (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Amelia Academy (Amelia Court House, VA). The Patriots come into the VISAA Division IV contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Amelia Academy was defeated by Fuqua (Farmville, VA), 54-30, in a league contest.
