The Central Red Devils basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Foxcroft Academy Ponies to 39 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stearns for a C North contest on Tuesday, January 24. Central will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 37-33 league win over Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Minutemen record now stands at 7-4.

The Ponies (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Eagles enter the B North contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Ellsworth ran past Hermon (Hermon, ME), 77-45, in a league contest.
