Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Northside Christian Academy Knights (Charlotte, NC), 42-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Concord Academy upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Eagles host Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC) to play the Lions in a NCISAA Metrolina bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Hickory Grove Christian won 49-27 in their recent league bout against Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC)

Next up, the Knights play the Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Northside Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 16-9 season record.
