The Mt. Pleasant Vikings basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Geibel Catholic Gators to 29 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Park for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Mt. Pleasant will meet a Eagles team coming off a 53-19 non-league loss to Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-9.

The Gators (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jeannette (Jeannette, PA). The Jayhawks enter the non-league contest with a 1-14 record.
