January 20, 2023: St. Petersburg, FL 33709 The Northside Christian Mustangs (St. Petersburg, FL) basketball nipped the visiting Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons (Bradenton, FL), 19-18 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Indian Rocks Christian (Largo, FL). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Indian Rocks Christian got by Universal Academy (Tampa, FL), 62-45, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Southwest Florida Christian for a 2A District 11 test on Tuesday, January 24. Saint Stephen's Episcopal will encounter a King's squad coming off a 56-16 non-league loss to Community School of Naples (Naples, FL). The King's record now stands at 2-13.
