Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pinewood Christian Patriots (Bellville, GA) and the host St. Andrew's Lions (Savannah, GA), saw Pinewood Christian's basketball squad hold off St. Andrew's by a tally of 30-28.

With the victory, Pinewood Christian improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Patriots host Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA) to play the Gators in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Bulloch Academy won 64-36 in their recent league challenge against Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA)
