Oregon High School Basketball - St. Paul overwhelms Umpqua Valley Christian
January 20, 2023: St. Paul, OR 97137 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR) and the visiting Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR), saw St. Paul's basketball squad wallop Umpqua Valley Christian by a tally of 64-37.
With the victory, St. Paul improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Buckaroos travel to Sheridan (Sheridan, OR) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-4.
Next up, the Monarchs confront the Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR) in a 1A Skyline challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Umpqua Valley Christian will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Cruisers come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 55-31 league loss to North Douglas (Drain, OR).
