The Sussex Academy Seahawks basketball team (Georgetown, DE), dropped 41-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting The Gunston School Herons (Centreville, MD)

The Herons now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delmarva Christian for a Eastern Shore contest on Tuesday, January 24. The Gunston School will meet a Royals team coming off a 56-36 league win over Sts. Peter & Paul (Easton, MD). The Royals record now stands at 6-0.

The Seahawks (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Woodbridge (Bridgeville, DE). The Raiders enter the Henlopen - Southern contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Woodbridge ran past Delmar (Delmar, DE), 63-21, in a league contest.
