January 20, 2023: Brookhaven, PA 19015 In Friday's non-league outing, the Upper Moreland Bears (Willow Grove, PA) basketball squad beat the host The Christian Academy (Brookhaven, PA), by a margin of 43-29.
The Bears (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lower Moreland (Huntingdon Valley, PA). The Lions go into the Suburban One - American outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Lower Moreland was topped by Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA), 49-22, in a league outing.
The now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Collegium Charter for a Bicentennial - Independence outing on Tuesday, January 24. The Christian Academy will clash with a Cougar squad coming off a 48-15 non-league loss to Gwynedd Mercy Academy (Gwynedd Valley, PA). The Cougar record now stands at 4-14.
