Texas High School Soccer - McKinney North overwhelmed by Independence
January 20, 2023: McKinney, TX 75071 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Independence Knights (Frisco, TX) and the host McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX), saw Independence's soccer squad beat McKinney North by a margin of 4-0.
The Knights now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Emerson for a 5A Region 2 District 10 test on Tuesday, January 24. Independence will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Ryan (Denton, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, McKinney North drops to 6-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Greenville (Greenville, TX) to encounter the Lions in a 5A Region 2 District 13 test on Wednesday, January 25. The Lions come into the test with a record of 6-7. Greenville 0-0 in their recent non-league test against Ennis (Ennis, TX)
