Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Sabine Cardinals (Gladewater, TX), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates confront the Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. Pine Tree will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.

The Cardinals now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sulphur Springs for a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. Sabine will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-4.
