The Rustburg Red Devils basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Amherst County Lancers to 37 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23.

The Lancers (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Jefferson Forest ran past Brookville (Lynchburg, VA), 46-37, in a non-league contest.
