With the victory, Augusta Prep Day improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Edmund Burke Academy (Waynesboro, GA) to confront the Spartans in a GIAA AA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Edmund Burke Academy lost 53-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA)
Next up, the Jaguars confront the Brentwood War Eagles (Sandersville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Thomas Jefferson Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The War Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 54-49 non-league win over Augusta Prep Day (Augusta, GA).
