Nebraska High School Basketball - Beatrice tops Milford
January 20, 2024: Beatrice, NE 68310 Beatrice Orangemen (Beatrice, NE) followers went home content Saturday as they observed their basketball team run past the visiting Milford Eagles (Milford, NE), 57-38 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Orangemen face the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 22. Beatrice will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 9-4 record after their 55-51 non-league loss to Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE).
With the defeat, Milford moves to 2-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to Sutton (Sutton, NE) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 23. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 7-7. Sutton won 49-33 in their recent non-league game against Thayer Central (Hebron, NE)
