Minnesota High School Basketball - Wahpeton trounces Breckenridge
January 20, 2024: Breckenridge, MN 56520 The Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND) basketball crushed the host Breckenridge Cowboys (Breckenridge, MN), 85-38 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Huskies (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Kindred (Kindred, ND). The Vikings go into the A Region 1 test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Kindred walloped Four Winds/Minnewaukan (Fort Totten, ND), 48-45, in a non-league test.
The Cowboys now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Ashby for a A Section 6 contest on Monday, January 22. Breckenridge will battle a Arrows team coming off a 60-58 league loss to Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN). The Arrows record now stands at 6-10.
