North Carolina High School Basketball - Woods Charter over Carolina Friends
January 20, 2024: Durham, NC 27705 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) and the host Carolina Friends Quakers (Durham, NC), saw Woods Charter's basketball squad overcome Carolina Friends by a tally of 46-33.
With the victory, Woods Charter improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC) to confront the Lions in a 1A Central Tar Heel challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Southern Wake Academy won 83-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Grace Christian (Sanford, NC)
Next up, the Quakers confront the Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls (Durham, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Carolina Friends will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Bulls come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 46-38 non-league loss to Carolina Friends (Durham, NC).
