New York High School Basketball - Rensselaer holds off Chatham
January 20, 2024: Chatham, NY 12037 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Rensselaer Rams (Rensselaer, NY) and the host Chatham Panthers (Chatham, NY), saw Rensselaer's basketball squad hold off Chatham by a tally of 53-48.
With the victory, Rensselaer improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Rams host Coxsackie-Athens (Coxsackie, NY) to confront the Riverhawks in a Section 2 Patroon challenge on Friday, January 26. The Riverhawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-11.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Watervliet Cannoneers (Watervliet, NY) in a Section 2 Patroon challenge, on Friday, January 26. Chatham will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Cannoneers come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 60-49 league win over Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY).
