Oklahoma High School Basketball - Elk City overwhelmed by Sulphur
January 20, 2024: Elk City, OK 73644 Sulphur Bulldogs (Sulphur, OK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Elk City Elks (Elk City, OK), 50-26 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sulphur upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Bulldogs host Madill (Madill, OK) to clash with the Wildcats in a Lake Country bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 15-1. Madill won 49-36 in their recent non-league bout against Idabel (Idabel, OK)
Next up, the Elks clash with the Clinton Red Tornadoes (Clinton, OK) in a Western - North bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Elk City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Red Tornadoes go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 47-30 non-league loss to Perry (Perry, OK).
