High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent holds off FAITH HomeSchool
January 20, 2024: , Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Varsity Opponent (, ) and the visiting FAITH HomeSchool Falcons (Lapeer, MI), saw Varsity Opponent's basketball squad hold off FAITH HomeSchool by a tally of 72-66.
With the victory, Varsity Opponent improves its record to 288-1116 on the campaign. The travel to St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD) to confront the Knights in a Washington Catholic challenge on Sunday, January 21. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 9-10. St. Mary's Ryken lost 80-47 in their recent league challenge against Gonzaga (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Novi HomeSchool (Novi, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. FAITH HomeSchool will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record.
