January 20, 2024: Fort Gibson, OK 74434 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Fort Gibson Tigers (Fort Gibson, OK) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK), by a count of 63-42.
The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Wagoner (Wagoner, OK). The Bulldogs go into the Verdigris Valley outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Wagoner was crushed by Hilldale (Muskogee, OK), 57-42, in a league outing.
The Indians now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Okemah for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 23. Sequoyah will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 50-49 league win over Prague (Prague, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 8-6.
