Iowa High School Basketball - Glenwood can't hold off Freeman
January 20, 2024: Glenwood, IA 51534 The Freeman Falcons basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Glenwood Rams to 57 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elmwood-Murdock for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Freeman will battle a Knights team coming off a 61-37 non-league loss to Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE). The Knights record now stands at 5-8.
The Rams (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Knights come into the Hawkeye Ten contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Kuemper edged Creston (Creston, IA), 91-65, in a league contest.
