Illinois High School Basketball - Indian Creek overwhelms Westminster Christian
January 20, 2024: Elgin, IL 60124 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL) and the host Westminster Christian Warriors (Elgin, IL), saw Indian Creek's basketball squad wallop Westminster Christian by a tally of 65-37.
With the victory, Indian Creek improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL) to confront the Royals in a Little Ten challenge on Monday, January 22. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 11-9. Hinckley-Big Rock lost 47-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Pearl City (Pearl City, IL)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Mooseheart Red Ramblers (Mooseheart, IL) in a Northeastern challenge, on Monday, January 22. Westminster Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Red Ramblers come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 83-66 non-league loss to Kankakee Trinity Academy (Kankakee, IL).
