January 20, 2024: Allen Park, MI 48101 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Inter-City Baptist Chargers (Allen Park, MI) basketball squad overcame the visiting Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI), by a count of 47-36.
With the victory, Inter-City Baptist upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Southfield Christian (Southfield, MI) to play the Eagles in a Michigan Independent - Blue challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Southfield Christian lost 55-42 in their recent league challenge against Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI)
Next up, the Griffins play the Allen Park Jaguars (Allen Park, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 45-40 league loss to Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI).
