Morton Potters (Morton, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL), 80-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Morton upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Potters travel to Metamora (Metamora, IL) to play the Redbirds in a Mid-Illini bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Redbirds come into the bout with a record of 18-4. Metamora won 70-43 in their recent non-league bout against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL)

Next up, the Vikings encounter the Schurz Bulldogs (Chicago, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 25. Niles North will attempt to advance on its 15-6 season record.
