Virginia High School Basketball - Oscar Smith tops Tunstall

January 20, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23320

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA), saw Oscar Smith's basketball squad knock off Tunstall by a count of 65-51.

With the victory, Oscar Smith upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Bruins in a Southeastern challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Western Branch lost 57-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA)

Next up, the Trojans play the George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) in a Piedmont challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Tunstall will attempt to upgrade on its 15-1 season record.
