Minnesota High School Basketball - Redwood Valley nips Pipestone
January 20, 2024: Pipestone, MN 56164 Redwood Valley Cardinals (Redwood Falls, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pipestone Arrows (Pipestone, MN), 74-68 in a league bout.
With the win, Redwood Valley upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Cardinals host St. James (St. James, MN) to play the Saints in a AA Section 3 bout on Monday, January 22. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 3-13. St. James lost 72-67 in their recent non-league bout against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] (Montgomery, MN)
Next up, the Arrows play the Luverne Cardinals (Luverne, MN) in a AA Section 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Pipestone will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 66-42 non-league win over Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD).
