New Jersey High School Basketball - Saddle River Day crushes Sparta
January 20, 2024: Saddle River, NJ 07458 Saddle River Day Rebels (Saddle River, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ), 75-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Saddle River Day upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Rebels host Dwight-Englewood (Englewood, NJ) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 21. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Dwight-Englewood won 63-48 in their recent non-league bout against Columbia (Maplewood, NJ)
Next up, the Spartans clash with the West Morris Mendham Minutemen (Mendham, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Sparta will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Minutemen go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 59-52 league win over Randolph (Randolph, NJ).
