Virginia High School Basketball - Charlottesville overwhelms New Kent
January 20, 2024: Charlottesville, VA 22901 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA), saw Charlottesville's basketball squad wallop New Kent by a tally of 68-26.
With the victory, Charlottesville improves its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Black Knights travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to confront the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson challenge on Monday, January 22. The Flying Flucos come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Fluvanna County lost 38-27 in their recent non-league challenge against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. New Kent will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record.
