Colorado High School Basketball - North Fork overwhelmed by Grand Valley
January 20, 2024: Parachute, CO 81635 The Grand Valley Cardinals basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting North Fork Miners to 20 in the Cardinals league victory on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olathe for a 3A Western Slope contest on Tuesday, January 23. Grand Valley will battle a Pirates team coming off a 56-23 league win over Aspen (Aspen, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 6-3.
The Miners (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Rams come into the 3A Western Slope contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Roaring Fork triumphed over Gunnison (Gunnison, CO), 64-42, in a league contest.
