Illinois High School Basketball - Phillips tops Lake Forest Academy
January 20, 2024: Chicago, IL 60653 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Phillips Wildcats (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), saw Phillips's basketball squad knock off Lake Forest Academy by a tally of 28-16.
With the victory, Phillips improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Perspectives/IIT (Chicago, IL) to play the Wolves in a challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Caxys play the North Shore Country Day Raiders (Winnetka, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Lake Forest Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 20-3 non-league loss to Woodlands Academy (Lake Forest, IL).
