Virginia High School Basketball - Christchurch School knocked off by Atlantic Shores Christian
January 20, 2024: Christchurch, VA 23031 The Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Christchurch School Seahorses to 42 in the Seahawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Seahawks now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denbigh Baptist Christian for a contest on Monday, January 22. Atlantic Shores Christian will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 62-31 league loss to StoneBridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-8.
The Seahorses (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Middlesex (Saluda, VA). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Middlesex ran past Mathews (Mathews, VA), 27-18, in a league contest.
