January 20, 2024: Georgiana, AL 36033 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Georgiana Panthers (Georgiana, AL) and the visiting McKenzie Tigers (McKenzie, AL), saw Georgiana's basketball squad knock off McKenzie by a tally of 40-32.
With the victory, Georgiana improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Pleasant Home (Andalusia, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Pleasant Home lost 50-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Opp (Opp, AL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Opp Bobcats (Opp, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 25. McKenzie will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 16-1 record after their 37-26 non-league win over Daleville (Daleville, AL).
