January 20, 2025: Alexandria, VA 22314 In Monday's non-league test, the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) basketball squad got by the visiting Prince George's Christian Academy Flyers (Landover, MD), by a score of 64-57.
Next, the Cardinals encounter the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA AA test, on Wednesday, January 22. Bishop Ireton will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Cadets come into the test with a 14-5 record after their 67-36 non-league win over GRACE Christian (Raleigh, NC).
The Flyers (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Bethel Academy (Manassas, VA). The Blazers come into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Bethel Academy held off Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD), 73-54, in a non-league test.
