Georgia High School Basketball - Carrollton sneaks past Union Grove
January 20, 2025: Carrollton, GA 30117 The Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA) basketball edged the visiting Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA), 61-56 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Morrow for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Carrollton will play a Mustangs team coming off a 75-31 non-league loss to Ambassador Christian School (Huntersville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-12.
With the loss, Union Grove falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA) to play the Eagles in a AAAA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Eagle's Landing won 69-46 in their recent non-league bout against Luella (Luella, GA)
