January 20, 2025: Decorah, IA 52101 The Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA) basketball toppled the visiting Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA), 77-63 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Hampton for a Northeast Iowa outing on Friday, January 24. Decorah-North Winneshiek will face a Chickasaws squad coming off a 57-39 non-league loss to Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Chickasaws record now stands at 2-11.
The Warriors (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Le Mars (Le Mars, IA). The Bulldogs enter the Missouri River outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Le Mars ran past Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA), 78-62, in a league outing.
