Mississippi High School Basketball - Pascagoula holds off Germantown
January 20, 2025: Madison, MS 39110 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Pascagoula Panthers basketball team scored a close 74-69 triumph over the Germantown Mavericks.
The Panthers (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock (Kiln, MS). The Hawks go into the 6A Region 4 contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Hancock was tipped by Picayune (Picayune, MS), 52-48, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mavericks confront the Starkville Yellowjackets (Starkville, MS) in a 7A Region 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Germantown will attempt to better on its 16-4 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 18-5 record after their 67-34 league win over Murrah (Jackson, MS).
