Iowa High School Basketball - Lisbon overwhelms Cedar Valley Christian
January 20, 2025: Lisbon, IA 52253 The Lisbon Lions basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Cedar Valley Christian Huskies to 22 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.
The Lions now have a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to West Branch for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. Lisbon will confront a Bears team coming off a 65-20 league loss to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA). The Bears record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, Cedar Valley Christian falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. The Lions go into the game with a record of 11-4. Lone Tree won 55-52 in their recent non-league game against WACO (Wayland, IA)
