Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way East defeats Richards
January 20, 2025: Frankfort, IL 60423 The Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL), 48-32 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Griffins now possess a 16-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lockport for a SouthWest Suburban bout on Thursday, January 23. Lincoln-Way East will play a Porters team coming off a 54-26 league win over Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Porters record now stands at 21-3.
With the loss, Richards falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL) to play the Cardinals in a South Suburban - Red bout on Thursday, January 23. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 1-13.
