Iowa High School Basketball - Sigourney knocks off Wilton
January 20, 2025: Wilton, IA 52778 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Sigourney Savages basketball team scored a good 70-57 win over the Wilton Beavers.
The Savages (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Keota (Keota, IA). The Eagles come into the South Iowa Cedar contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Keota defeated Moravia (Moravia, IA), 46-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Beavers battle the Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA) in a River Valley - South contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Wilton will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Regals come into the contest with a 12-2 record after their 58-44 non-league win over Cascade (Cascade, IA).
