January 20, 2025: Spring Valley, CA 91978 Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Steele Canyon moves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Pilots in a test on Saturday, January 25. The Pilots come into the test with a record of 0-3. Academy of Our Lady of Peace lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA)
The Highlanders now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a test on Monday, February 3.
