In Tuesday's league test, the Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA) basketball squad got by the visiting LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), by a final score of 67-63.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) in a AAA Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 23. Fayette County will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 9-8 record after their 62-59 league win over Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA).
