January 20, 2026: LaGrange Park, IL 60526 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) and the visiting Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL), observed Nazareth Academy's basketball team knock off Montini Catholic by a score of 42-34.
The Roadrunners (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Proviso East (Maywood, IL). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 3-13 record. In their last challenge, Proviso East dropped by Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL), 57-26, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Broncos meet the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers (Aurora, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - White battle, on Friday, January 23. Montini Catholic will attempt to advance on its 9-13 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 9-11 record after their 67-59 league loss to St. Rita (Chicago, IL).
