January 21, 2022: New Britain, CT 06053 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens (New Britain, CT) and the host Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), saw Academy of Science and Innovation's basketball squad hold off Goodwin Tech by a tally of 50-47.
With the victory, Academy of Science and Innovation improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to Parish Hill (Chaplin, CT) to play the Pirates in a Capitol Region challenge on Monday, January 24. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Parish Hill lost 63-38 in their recent league challenge against Academy of Aerospace and Engineering (Windsor, CT)
Next up, the Gladiators play the Bullard-Havens Tigers (Bridgeport, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 26. Goodwin Tech will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 40-37 non-league loss to Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT).
