The May River Sharks basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Colleton County Cougars to 70 in the Sharks league triumph on Friday.

The Sharks now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host James Island for a AAAA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 25. May River will meet a Trojans team coming off a 66-39 league win over Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 11-6.

The Cougars (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The enter the AAAA Region 7 contest with a 13-4 record.
