In Friday's league match, the visiting Perry Commodores basketball team scored a tight 61-54 triumph over the Ridgemont Golden Gophers.

In their next game, the Commodores meet the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers (Waynesfield, OH) in a Northwest Central match, on Friday, January 28. Perry will attempt to better on its 13-2 season record.
